Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate

Basically like a friend with benefits, but better.

This cozy cup is packed with all the good things like magnesium + antioxidants from Addictive Wellness pure, raw, organic cacao and features one of my most used mushrooms: chaga.

Chaga is high in antioxidants and rich in phytonutrients, zinc, b vitamins, digestive enzymes + minerals. These properties are what make chaga good for protecting our cells, reducing inflammation, cleansing the liver, regulating the immune system, aiding in digestion and promoting endurance and longevity.

I got this sexy recipe from Root and Bones instagram and let me just say it did not disappoint!

ps. I get my chaga and other shrooms from her. She's a pretty inspiring human, by the way, and her adaptogenic tonics are always on fleek. Go check her out! ⚡️

This recipe is vegan friendly unless you want to add in some collagen for added benefits! (which i did)

Wana make it?

Heat up 2 cups of coconut milk in a sauce pan.

Then, carefully pour the milk into a blender that can safely handle hot liquid. (I have a Vitamix)

Then add:

•2 tablespoons of Addictive Wellness cacao powder

•1/2 teaspoon Root and Bones chaga powder

•2 tablespoons maple syrup

•scoop of Vital Proteins collagen (can omit to be vegan)

Blend well, pour into your favorite mug and add vegan marshmallows. Sip and indulge in the healthiest + tastiest hot chocolate you've ever had!!
